Starting back in in Dec 2005, Troop 715 has been making an effort to provide adventure opportunities for 1st Class and higher Scouts to participate in Philmont-class adventures. You don't have to be Philmont-bound to participate. Hearty adults are welcome to join us, too (and needed!).
We would like to mix day activities with some longer, tougher hikes and multi-night backpacking weekends. We'll rely on Scoutcraft more and civilization less. This is NOT car-camping!
